I’ve always had a passion for motorcycles – at a young age I would race 50 cc scramblers and then slowly progressed to larger bikes. I have built many bikes in the past and have always had a passion for land speed and drag racing. I m a stonemason by trade but my heart is in building bikes. I race on a shoe-string but to be honest that’s the way I like it – trying to come up with different ideas to make your bike go faster with things you can find in the shed – so I guess you could say Iam a budget racer. Racing with the Supertwins has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge on mechanics and my hobby as well as giving me the chance to be around like-minded people. I have many ‘bikes but the one I am currently racing is a Suzuki SV1000S. My best quarter mile time is 10.35 with a terminal speed of 135 miles per hour, but if I am honest that was with a little squeeze of nitrous oxide in 5th and 6th gear :-). I’ll look forward to seeing everybody at the track.
